sorry only google translate so far 🙁
So now (finally) arrived in Australia … then wait 2 hours at customs, drug control (with drugs Beagle), a 1-hour bus ride to the city and we were arrived at our 2nd CouchSurfing host: Brodie, at our age, a incredibly cute and funny australian, with a similar sense of sarcastic humor like me (and it is time to take a special trip to Australia …). From his penthouse apartment (otherwise you can it really hard to describe) in the middle of the city, we then tried to do all the annoying stuff like organizational bank account, tax, social security and phone number, what then on the second day also quite worked out well. (By the way, I can only recommend a night flight over Dubai to Australia to fly, jet lag was virtually non-existent).
After an afternoon at the beach (Cottlesloe Beach, Brodies tip :)) and a trip to Kings Park, Perth were our 5 days at Brodie already over and we moved to South Perth in the suburbs. And then also the third great experience with CouchSurfing Mike & Michelle. The weekend was unfortunately very rainy, but the two have yet considered two great trips. They drove us soon after arrival to Fremantle to show us the small fishing town with a really nice brewery. In the evening we went straight on with the two and her roommate Robby to a house party one of her friends. Again showed how incredibly friendly Australians are set, we were taken immediately without any hesitation in the group (it may now be able to understand also claim justifiably drunken Australians;-)) and have received a lot of good tips.
Am still verregneteren Sunday, Mike and Michelle have a trip to the Swan Valley, a farming and sales territory for almost everything between whiskey and chocolate wonders. And then we were off to the Probiererei: different types of coffee, chocolates, jams, vinegar and oil, cheese, wine, nougat, nuts and rum … an absolutely successful afternoon, which was only topped so that the two of us have cooked. Incredibly nice these Australians !!
Then we went to the planning for the next week. After unfortunately we could organize on the fly no other couch surfers, it should go to the north of Australia, preferably with camping. Our three hosts then offered us another night in their house in order to comfortably plan our next week can.
After a little back and forth, we decided to hire a car for two weeks with the aim of Exmouth and Karijini National Park, as well as all the fine points go as Shark Bay and Monkey Mia. Mike and Michelle offered us their camping equipment (tent, Iso bring mats, kitchen utensils and snorkel gear) and equipped so it goes off tomorrow in the outback adventure.
